Pre-launch draft — visitor cookie audit outstanding. This page describes the configuration reviewed so far. It is not a complete cookie inventory or confirmation that every browser storage item has been checked.

Cookies and similar storage

Cookies are small pieces of information stored in your browser. Websites can also use other browser storage. Their purpose, provider and duration should be explained so you can understand your choices.

What has been checked

WooCommerce order-attribution tracking is switched off, and its Sourcebuster and order-attribution scripts were no longer present on the homepage after that change. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, remarketing and Facebook Pixel fields in BeTheme were empty at review.

The current typeface is served through BeTheme’s local font cache. The pre-launch site has no customer checkout or customer account flow in its navigation. Retailer and affiliate tracking will need a new review before the catalogue launches.

Saved previews

If you choose Save on a preview, the site stores its department identifier and save time in your browser under chosenwell_saved_previews_v1. This supports the Saved feature you request and does not send the list to Chosenwell. Saved entries stop appearing after 30 days. Remove individual previews or use Clear saved previews to delete the list, or clear site data in your browser.

Saved previews are specific to this browser and do not require an account. This feature does not store payment information or create orders.

The notice on this site

The current notice is informational. Selecting “Dismiss notice” closes it; this does not mean you have agreed to analytics or advertising tracking. The theme is configured to remember dismissal for up to 365 days. The exact storage name and behaviour still need to be confirmed in a fresh visitor session.

What remains to be verified

A fresh, logged-out visitor audit is still required to record the names, providers, purposes and lifetimes of storage used by WordPress, WooCommerce, BeTheme and the hosting service. Administrator login storage must be distinguished from ordinary visitor storage. The presence of a plugin alone does not confirm that all its possible cookies are set.

Before optional tracking is introduced, its behaviour and any required choices must be configured and tested. This site’s informational notice is not a tool for granting or withdrawing granular tracking consent.

Managing browser storage

Your browser settings let you inspect, remove and block cookies and other site data. Blocking some storage may affect site functions. Removing site data may cause a dismissed notice to appear again.

Retailer websites and future services

Retailer websites have their own policies and controls. When affiliate links, analytics or other services are added to Chosenwell, this information and the site’s controls must be reviewed before they are enabled.
